Participants are investigating cutting-edge teaching strategies that boost student engagement, strengthen industry relevance, and enhance experiential learning. The program is an example of Kabale University’s continued dedication to raising educational standards and encouraging training that closely matches industry demands in the hospitality and tourism sector, and PUM’s commitment to empowering institutions through expert knowledge sharing and mentorship. Through this workshop, trainers are strengthening competency based training and efficient knowledge transfer while developing their capacity in contemporary hospitality teaching methods.

Additionally, Dr Christine Ampumuza, the chief of IOTH, has consistently promoted practical and industry-focused learning and supports academic staff members’ ongoing professional development through this capacity-building program. In order to provide a thorough and inclusive training approach, the workshop involves both operational staff in hospitality and laboratory units as well as academic staff in hospitality-related fields.
