KAB student becomes the first Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador from Uganda
Kabale University student, Patrick Kaweesi, has been selected as the first Microsoft learn student ambassador in Uganda. Kaweesi, 20, a second-year student of Bachelor of Information Technology says the opportunity will help him improve his technical skills and grow in his career.
Kaweesi further says that he will use the opportunity to pass the knowledge he acquires to the students in his faculty and beyond. He also says that technology has eased life and the world can be one’s office.
The Microsoft learn student ambassador runs in 102 countries across the world and aims at enabling students who want to use technology to solve real-world problems with like-minded peers, establishing themselves as mentors and leaders in their community.
Microsoft Learn student ambassador is a program that helps students develop their technical skills and prepare for careers in the tech industry. It provides resources such as tutorials, projects, and certifications to help students learn about various technology topics and gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Experts, tools, and technologies.
The MLSA (Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador) program also enhances students’ employability by offering training in skills not usually taught in academia, including knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
