Kabale University Men Football Team triumphs over Bishop Stuart University

Kabale University earned a much-deserved home win over Bishop Stuart University with a 2-1 goal margin

After scoring one of the 2 goals, Herbet Ningumana an education student at Kabale University attributed the success to Kabale University Football team’s cooperation and oneness. He said all they are now focused on is the game they have on Monday with Kyambogo University which he said, they have to win to get to the top of the group.

Ahimbisiibwe Peter Marvin, a player who scored the second goal was quick to pay tribute to God for having given them the win against BSU. He mentioned how all they prayed and hoped for a win since they had lost the previous matches.

BSU’s Coach Mr. Mutabaruka John said he wasn’t disappointed in how his team played saying that Soccer is soccer! At the end of each game, it is usually a win, loss, or a draw. We accept the results of the match and it was a good game.

The Pepsi University Football League resumes on Monday 27th of June as Kyambogo University hosts Kabale University.
