Kabale University Offers Career Guidance to Secondary Schools in Eastern Uganda

Kabale University offers career guidance to Secondary Schools as part our Corporate Social Responsibility. This November 2018, we were able to offer this service to schools in the Eastern Part of Uganda.

Some Secondary Schools in the districts of Busia, Tororo, Mbale, Soroti, Serere and Ngora benefited from this program. Dr. Francis Akena, Dr.Marus Eton, Dr.Sarah Nachuha, Mr. John Michael Edoru, Eng. Charles Mwanja and Ms.Judith Atukunda participated in the Exercise.

Secondary School students were given an opportunity to interact with Academicians and role models in education. Young students were challenged to decide early on careers they want to pursue after secondary school education. And to achieve their dream careers, students were given tips like: they must be disciplined, be focused and work very hard.

this was really a good move for most of the students in secondary are not guided enough on what to go with after the life in secondary. many of the parents do not know what is done at the university and so keep the spirit high…traverse to the whole of Uganda. and not only to secondary schools but also to institutions.
knowledge is the future. FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY
