Kabale University Rugby team receives Rugby balls and jerseys

The sports president of  United States International University Africa (USIU-Africa) Mr. Bonifance Salano has appreciated the Kabale University rugby team for having participated in the Africa Universities sevens championship that was organized by FASU at Makerere University.

Kabale University team was among the three other Ugandan University teams that represented Uganda in the kings of Africa Rugby 7’s championship between 8th – 10^th October 2021.

Kabale University Rugby team managed to be the 9th out of 12 teams that participated in the tournament.

Due to the great performance exhibited in the tournament, Salano- the sports President of USA International University of Kenya appreciated the Kabale University Rugby team with a donation of two rugby balls and 22 jerseys (T-shirts) for the team.

Handing over the donation to the University Vice-chancellor Prof. Joy Kwesiga, Mr. Amos Tukamushaba – the Dean of students at Kabale University commended the team for having represented the University well throughout the tournament. He was optimistic that the team would perform better with this support. He added that the team was appreciated for the energy and spirit of teamwork exhibited during the tournament.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Joy C Kwesiga congratulated the team for exhibiting great performance in the tournament. She commended the goodwill gesture of the donation on behalf of KAB Management.
