The team clinched the First Prize in the Network Track Team 2 category and was also honored with the Women in Technology Award, a testament to their exceptional talent and commitment to fostering gender diversity in technology.
The award ceremony was held at the Ministry of Education and Sports headquarters in Kampala, officiated by the State Minister for Higher Education, Hon. John Chrysestom Muyingo, alongside H.E. Out of the twelve students representing Uganda, Kabale University’s team stood out for its remarkable achievements. Competing against top universities globally, the team’s innovation and technical expertise earned them accolades in the Network Track, alongside other Ugandan teams from Gulu University and Muni University, who also excelled in various categories.
