Absa donates tent to Kabale University

A team of representatives from Absa Bank has paid a courtesy call to Kabale University to hand over a tent for use in outdoor activities. Led by the Managing Director, Mr. Mumba Kalifungwa the team was received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joy Kwesiga.

The Vice Chancellor, who welcomed the team, appreciated Absa Bank for providing good financial services. She requested that the Bank should open avenues for students to do internship in the Bank. She also noted that the University has various opportunities which the bank could tap into to partner with the university in training responsible graduates.

Mr. Kalifungwa noted that Absa Bank was willing to work together with Kabale University. He noted that they would send a team to the university to further discuss on what to prioritize in the partnership.

During the visit, Mr. Kalifungwa appreciated members of KAB for banking with Absa Bank. He pledged to find alternative ways to partner together in meeting the needs of students together.
