A seasonal message to all Kabale University Staff, Students and Stakeholders

For Kabale University, 2025 has been a remarkable year, marked by significant progress and strides toward a brighter future. Our success has been made possible by the support and dedication of all of our stakeholders, including staff, students, and partners. Through our collaborative efforts, we have advanced the mission and vision of our University, which will allow us to continue to grow and excel not only in Uganda, but also around the world.

As we approach the end of 2025, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all Kabale University staff, students, and stakeholders. I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of the University Chancellor, Hon Canon Mathew Rukikaire, the Governing Council, Senate and Management for your unwavering support and dedication throughout the year. As a result of your commitment, the University has been able to advance its mission and vision.

It is during the Christmas season that we are reminded of the enduring values of love, compassion, and shared humanity. We are encouraged to reflect on our shared goals and the bonds that bind us together as we strive for a better future. Let us remember the spirit of togetherness as we celebrate and renew our commitment to working toward shared aspirations in the coming year. Together, let us strive to achieve our common goals, contribute to the development of our institution, and align ourselves with national priorities in the new year of 2026. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous and fruitful new year in 2026.

I hope this season brings you joy, peace and rejuvenation.

Prof. Joy C. Kwesiga
Vice Chancellor
