Kabale University to host Symposium in the Water and Environment week
The Ministry of Water and Environment is crowning a weeklong of activities to celebrate the water and Environment week in Western Uganda at Kabale University. The University shall host a series of activities starting with a symposium and mini-exhibition on Thursday 17th of March 2022. The symposium that will stream live starting at 9.00 am will be crowing a weeklong series of activities that have involved tree planting, radio and television talk shows among others.
The Ministry has held a series of these activities to create awareness about the plight of the environment to the community. The different papers to be presented shall include those from the University Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Technology, Applied Design, and Fine Art, Excel Consult Agribusiness incubator.
The day-long symposium shall be opened by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Joy Kwesiga in the morning. The symposium shall involve key western Uganda Region political and policy leaders. Different stakeholders shall also hold a mini-exhibition at the university grounds.
