Kabale University Participates in the Education Expo and Go Back to School Bonanza at Kakyeka Stadium

Kabale University made a significant mark at the recent Education Expo and Go Back to School Bonanza held at Kakyeka Stadium. The event, which brought together educational institutions, parents, and students, showcased the university’s commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.

The Education Expo and Go Back to School Bonanza aimed to promote education and provide a platform for educational institutions to connect with prospective students and their families. This year, Kabale University took center stage as it showcased its academic programs and students’ innovations.

The university’s stall, adorned with colorful banners, posters and informative brochures, attracted a good number of visitors throughout the four-day exhibition. University representatives, including students from different Faculties, eLearning officer- studio production and Multimedia officer and members from the Communications, Branding and Marketing Department engaged with attendees, addressing their inquiries about course offerings, scholarships/sponsorships, and extracurricular activities.

According to Edmund Bashaasha, the Chief Organiser, Education Expo and Back to School Bonanza provides a platform for dissemination of all credible level Education Institutions (EI) information to the public

Parents and students were impressed with Kabale University’s presence and the valuable information provided.

ORD. Gordwin Kasigazi Director Kings S. S Mbarara while visiting the stall noted, “I’m very impressed by the team. They are hospitable and creativity has been practically seen.”

Kwarisiima Caroline an Alumna of Kabale University now working with ICOBI -Kabwohe branch expressed how honored she was to see what she called her university participating in the Expo. Ms. Caroline reflected on her journey as a student at KAB in 2008 saying she loved the University specifically all the lecturers that taught her in class.

Speaking after the event Prof. Joy C.Kwesiga the Vice-Chancellor of Kabale University congratulated the team that had participated in the four day expo.

” We are happy that the team is moving KAB forward. Participating in events like this allows us to connect with aspiring students and demonstrate the diverse opportunities our institution offers.” said Prof. Kwesiga.

The University’s participation in the Education Expo and Go Back to School Bonanza reaffirmed its commitment to making quality education accessible to all. The university’s commitment to community involvement was evident during the Go Back to School Bonanza, and Kabale University is set to participate in a series of free educational workshops and interactive sessions covering topics on career guidance.

As the university continues to inspire and empower the next generation of learners, it looks forward to welcoming new students eager to embark on their academic journeys.

The expo was organized by Bushenyi Demonstration Farm under the theme, “Exploring the opportunities in the education sector.”
