Kabale University Promotes Academic Excellence at Kabale Secondary School Career Guidance Event
On Thursday, the 14th of March 2024, Mr. Godfrey Sempungu, the Senior Communication, Branding, and Marketing Officer at Kabale University, delivered an inspiring message to A-level students at Kabale Secondary School, urging them to strive for academic success and aspire to join reputable institutions of higher learning.
Speaking at the main hall of Kabale Secondary School during a career guidance event organized by the school, Mr. Sempungu emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving educational goals. He encouraged students to take their studies seriously and aim for at least two principal passes or above, which would enable them to pursue degree courses at Kabale University or other esteemed institutions.
Mr. Sempungu commended the management and the head teacher of Kabale Secondary School for their commitment to excellence, particularly highlighting the outstanding performance of the school in the previous years. He urged the students to emulate their peers’ success and strive for academic excellence in the upcoming UACE examinations.
During the event, Kabale University also demonstrated its commitment to supporting and motivating students by providing notebooks to those who actively participated and answered questions posed by the team from Kabale University.
Ms. Nakabugo Immaculate an Assistant Lecturer – Animal Production& Range Management, encouraged students to focus on science subjects and excel in their studies. She highlighted the wide range of science courses offered at Kabale University and encouraged students to pursue these fields with diligence and determination, emphasizing the abundant opportunities available for those who excel in science-based disciplines.
The team comprised of a representative from the Academic Registrar’s Office, representatives from the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences.
